With over two decades of experience in school food service, SLA has built a reputation for its individualized approach and deep commitment to the communities it serves. Each meal program is crafted to meet the unique goals of a school, district, or region, with a team of passionate professionals leading the charge. But as the organization continued to grow and evolve, it became clear that their visual and verbal identity needed to match the heart, innovation, and professionalism behind their mission. Reinforcing the Brand arrow
We began by developing a comprehensive brand guide to unify SLA’s voice and visuals across every touchpoint. The guide established foundational elements such as tone and messaging, logo usage, and typography, while introducing a dynamic new color palette with layered tints and shades. We also created standards for iconography and photography, all designed with accessibility top of mind—ensuring that SLA’s story could be clearly and consistently told to every audience they serve.

Next, we translated the brand guide into action, redesigning SLA’s proposal materials with consistency and clarity. Every element—from font choices to layout styles—was intentionally aligned with the new brand identity, helping SLA present its services with confidence and cohesion. We also extended the rebrand into physical spaces, designing environmental branding elements like wall art and signage that reflect SLA’s warmth and professionalism. These visual cues reinforce the organization’s values in every cafeteria, office, and shared space.
