Art that Unites

A few months ago, I had the pleasure of meeting a talented artist Matthew J. Winters. And I am equally as happy to now be able to call him a friend.
Matthew graduated from Depaul University in 2006, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts. He has also received numerous recognitions and awards. Winters uses detailed illustrations (i.e. peppermints and diamonds) and repetitive motifs in his murals. Some of his pieces can be temporary since they are drawn directly onto the wall.

One of Winters’ largest pieces was a peppermint piece commissioned for the W Hotel sales office.
