Winning!!

The FedEx + Me My Story: Austin pilot program has officially come to an end, and we’re sad to see it go! We’ve so enjoyed hearing from and meeting such amazing, fellow entrepreneurs in Austin. The program that kicked off just a short year & a half ago came to a close last week with a final celebration at south Austin’s favorite swanky spot, The Highball.
The event featured keynote speaker Kendra Scott, who shared the incredible story of her company. It’s no surprise that she’s so successful {we’ve always loved her gorgeous designs}, but hearing the story of her struggles and triumphs to make her company what it is today was such a treat!
To conclude the event (and the program) our fabulous sponsor, FedEx, distributed a series of grants totaling $30,000! Winners were selected from among the program participants of all rounds… and MOD’s Maria Orozova was one of them! And we can’t think of more deserving companies than our fellow winners, Sofia & Victoria Avila of Mandarin Flower Co. and My-Cherie Haley of Shimmer& Bliss. Congrats ladies!!
