Beautiful Sight

Not many people know that the word Belvedere comes from the Italian phrase “beautiful sight”.  Beautiful is exactly what I thought when I found this creative packaging on Luxuo.com.

In homage to the emblematic brand, Belvedere Vodka has chosen to “caulk” one of the famous silver birch trees and turn it into ice bucket for a perfect tasting.  Under the bark of chromed metal hides a heart of tender birch, home of a bottle of Belvedere Pure 70 cl.

Presented on a sleek clear acrylic base, the central part of the log shows off the classic bottle in the hollow section.

 Remove the bottle and the treated wood becomes an ice container. The metallic cover is sleek, slender and bear a beautifully designed inseparable holly leaf.
