Kavaaaahhh

Most of us living in the U.S. lead lives full of stress & anxiety. Even here in laid back Austin, things can be nerve-wracking (i.e. traffic!) It’s important to find ways to de-stress and relax. Many of us turn to exercise, yoga, meditation, or even some um..other outlets to help us relax.
Now Austin has a new venture in which to unwind – the SquareRüt Kava Bar.  Kava is a medicinal plant that has been used for generations in the Pacific Islands. Traditionally used as a muscle relaxant and anti-anxiety herb, Kava is also good as a sleep aid & stress reliever. Kava can be made into a variety of drinks and teas, which have soothing and relaxing effects.

SquareRüt is the first kava bar in Texas. The company, based in Austin, Texas, features three varieties of kava drinks at its café with plans to introduce more kava-based drinks, food and merchandise – including Chocolate Kava! Be sure to check it out down on South Congress – and relax!
