As you know, we here at MOD like to try out the latest trends in town, and the recently opened Swift’s Attic is sure to be Austin’s newest place to be scene! The restaurant was packed as Austin foodies have turned out all week for the much anticipated soft opening.  Moving through the crowd we spotted fellow small business entrepreneurs Lisa Matula of Delish, (pictured above), Dr. Rocco Piazza of The Piazza Center and Stacy Paulson of Stacy Paulson Design.

While design team Leslie Fossler Interiors has created a comfortable, dark, sexy atmosphere and the bar is stocked with amazing creative cocktails, affordable wine choices, & a wide selection of local beers, the real star of this show is the amazing food! Executive Chef Mat Clouser, Sous Chef Zach Northcutt, and Pastry Chef Callie Speer have created a stellar menu of small plates for a tapas style dining experience extraordinaire! Some of the “must haves” on the menu include the raw scallops with cucumber sorbet and a spicy amarillo pepper sauce, the Bandera quail with cornbread and rum-raisin butter ( DO NOT miss the Butter!), and “Popcorn & A Movie” – a layered dessert that will blow your mind.
Swift’s Attic is located downtown at 315 Congress above The Elephant Room (a great place for some after dinner jazz). The restaurant is currently open for dinner Monday – Saturday, and plans to add weekday lunch service by the end of the month. For a highly recommended reservation, call 512.48-ATTIC or email [email protected].
