MOD: Spring Forecast

Being a Custom Design Firm, we think a lot about colors. What’s in? What’s out? What is the next trend? Is this a retro color or just old? What is the new black?
One of the ways we keep ahead of the competition is to pay attention to what is going on in the world of fashion and design.  Sites like Pantone can keep us all up to date.  We have already talked at length about Tangerine Tango (the IT color for 2012) but there are also more beautiful hues coming off the color wheel this spring.
Women should be seen mixing vibrant, exciting colors like Solar Power, Cabaret, Bellflower with soft, refreshing pastels. like Margarita, Sweet Lilac, & Cockatoo.  Neutrals like Driftwood and Starfish with blend will with all, as will the deep Sodalite Blue.
Men this spring should also experiment with the bright and bold, utilizing Tangerine & Solar Power to mix with Khaki, Starfish, and Tradewinds neutrals.  The palate for men this year is predominantly blue, with the deep Sodalite, vivid Hawaiian, and “dazzling” Dazzling Blue. Men also have a vibrant Granita and soft Grass Green in the mix to play with.

Whatever your personal style, the 2012 Spring colors are sure to add some bold and bright hues to your wardrobe this season. Just remember though,  Black will always be the new black.
